How Consignment Works at Lamborghini Minneapolis

Every consigned vehicle is evaluated, prepared, marketed, and represented to the same exacting standards as the vehicles we acquire for our own inventory.

Our objective is to maximize your vehicle's presentation, expose it to qualified buyers throughout the country, manage every aspect of the transaction, and help you achieve the strongest possible return while eliminating the time, inconvenience, and risk associated with a private sale.

1. Evaluation & Acceptance

150-Point Inspection and Selective Acceptance

We are intentionally selective about the vehicles we represent. Every car in our showroom reflects the Lamborghini Minneapolis name. Before we accept a vehicle, a Certified Master Technician performs a 150-point inspection on the lift, covering mechanical condition, suspension, brakes, tires, underbody, fluids, electronics, drivetrain, and cosmetic presentation.

Repairs are billed at our internal cost. Approved work uses our internal labor rate rather than retail customer-pay pricing, with no consignment markup added. Nothing is repaired without your authorization.

2. PREPARATION

Reconditioning, Detailing,
and Quality Control

Once approved reconditioning is complete, your vehicle enters cosmetic preparation: typically two to three full days of work aimed at retail presentation standard, not simply cleaning. A final inspection by our Detail Manager evaluates every surface under professional lighting, and anything below standard is corrected before the car moves forward.
